GIVE Analytics Limited is a financial modelling and analytics consultancy operating across the UK, USA, MENA and Asia-Pacific. We advise investment funds, sovereign wealth funds, family offices, corporations, developers, government bodies and professional services organisations on engagements where the analysis must be accurate, independent and built to bear scrutiny.

We have advised on projects ranging from early-stage feasibility studies to substantial capital raises and complex multi-jurisdictional transactions. Our Expertise

Our senior practitioner is experienced in advanced financial modelling and strategic advisory, combining institutional financial training with engineering-level proficiency across Excel, Python, SQL and production software systems. That combination is unusual in advisory practice, and it is what underpins the quality of our analytical work.

Our advisory practice has operated at board and director level across a broad range of engagements in agriculture, real estate, technology, energy and infrastructure, healthcare, government, financial services and the GCC. That boardroom experience shapes everything we do: we understand how decisions are made at the top of organisations, and we build analysis that serves those decisions precisely.

We apply quantitative methods to financial questions that traditional spreadsheet approaches cannot adequately address. Depending on the question, that may include Monte Carlo simulation with stipulated joint dependency for risk distributions, time-series methods (ARIMA, exponential smoothing, state-space models) for forecasting, regularised regression and gradient-boosted trees for non-linear operational drivers, or Brinson-Fachler attribution decomposition for portfolio performance work. The result is analysis that is both technically capable and commercially grounded, delivered by practitioners who can defend every assumption in the room.

How We Work

Every engagement at GIVE Analytics Limited receives senior practitioner resource from scoping through to delivery. We scale supporting resource to match the complexity of the instruction, with the senior layer engaged throughout. Clients deal with experienced practitioners who can answer technical questions, challenge assumptions, and provide commercial context, not account managers relaying messages to anonymous analysts.

We are analytically independent. Our analysis reflects what the data and evidence support, not what a client might prefer to hear. We do not adjust conclusions to protect a relationship; we set out the findings and let the client decide what to do with them.

David Hickson

Principal Consultant & Founding Director

David Hickson founded GIVE Analytics Limited to deliver the quality of financial analysis that senior decision-makers actually require: documented, independent, and built by people who understand the commercial context as well as the numbers.

He brings extensive experience in advanced financial modelling, investment analysis and strategic advisory, with a technical background spanning Excel, Python, SQL and production software engineering. His advisory practice has operated at board and director level across a broad range of engagements, advising investment funds, sovereign wealth funds, corporations, and government bodies across the UK, USA, MENA and Asia-Pacific.

David also founded the GIVE Foundation, the charitable entity through which GIVE Analytics donates ten per cent of annual profits to causes making a measurable difference.
